Silicon Rubber Cold Shrink Tube
CTS is open-ended, tubular silicon rubber tube, which is expanded with removable cores. The core is removed after the tube has been positioned over an in line connection, terminal lug, etc., allowing the tube to shrink and form a waterproof seal.
Typical application is primary electrical insulation for all wire and cable splicing rated to 1 kV. Good for insulation, repairs and environmental sealing where space is limited and open fire can not be used..
